Bullets were flying in New Orleans medical district overnight.
NOPD says a man was shot near the LSU Med Center just before 4:00am.
We were notified just before 4:30am.
EMS took a man from the 1900 block of Perdido Street to the nearby ER with a gunshot wound to the body.
No word on his condition.
Police are working to determine who shot the victim.
