New Orleans Police say gunfire sent a man to the hospital Monday night.
"The NOPD is investigating a shooting," Public Relations Specialist Karen Boudrie said in an email. "Initial reports show an adult male was driven to a local hospital by private conveyance."
It reporedly happened in New Orleans East.
"The victim was suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The call came out at 9:55pm."
The investigation continues.
