
Louisiana State Police are on a manhunt for Matthew Mire, 31, who is “a person of high interest in multiple shooting incidents in several parishes, which claimed the life of one victim, critically injured three others,” according to an LSP report.

As The Times-Picayune | The Advocate reports, Mire is a suspect in two overnight shootings where a Louisiana State Trooper was found dead inside his vehicle at a shooting scene in Prairieville.
Multiple parishes are also assisting in the search for Mire, including, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Ascension Parish’s Office. State Police say Mire is considered armed and dangerous.
