City hall is unhappy with what they saw in the Superdome during the Saints game Sunday. The uneasiness was not only with the loss on the field but also with the maskless fans in the stands.
“There wasn’t a lot of mask-wearing in some cases and didn’t seem a whole lot of heavy enforcement on that,” said City of New Orleans Spokesperson, Beau Tidwell at his weekly media conference.
“That is cause for concern for us. We are glad to have everybody back in the Dome, we are looking forward to a great season with the Saints, we do ask everybody, fans, visitors, guests, when you are there, be safe and be smart.”
Tidwell is calling for better compliance with the mask mandate when the Saints play at home again on Halloween.
