All of Metairie's Mardi Gras parades this year will roll in the same direction, starting near Clearview City Center mall and heading east towards Bonnabel.
In recent years, most Metairie parades would start on Bonnabel Blvd. and travel west toward Clearview Pkwy.
Argus, Metairie's Fat Tuesday parade, was the only one to maintain the east bound route.
Excalibur is the first Metairie parade to roll this season, starting at 7 p.m. Friday.
