More rain this week in N.O.

image

A line of strong storms sweeps through the metro area this week.

WWLTV’s Meteorologist, Payton Malone says, “Watch for some scattered downpours each day this week. An upper low-pressure area will dominate, and lots of moisture will be available in the atmosphere. There will also be a typical summertime sea breeze pattern in which clouds and rain form along breezes coming inland from the Gulf or the lake. Along these boundaries, showers and storms tend to form.
This is a common set-up to spark scattered showers and some thunderstorms each day.”
