High powered New Orleans Personal Injury Attorney Morris Bart is stepping up to aid the New Orleans District Attoney’s Office with staffing and other issues.
Bart personnel will be aiding the office of the DA with screening the high case load.
The DA’s office has confirmed the partnership.
“Our office has been working to identify new resources and partnerships to ensure we are meeting the demands of a busy docket including partnering with Morris Bart. We look forward to sharing more information about this soon," said Curtis Elmore, spokesperson for the District Attorney's office told WWL-TV.
Other sources say the work performed by Bart’s office will be pro-bono.
Expect a news conference announcing the partnership in the coming days.
