NOPD is asking for help finding two suspects they say are armed and dangerous after a deadly shooting at Rouses on Baronne Street.
"The New Orleans Police Department’s Homicide Section is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects wanted in connection with the Homicide of a 43-year-old man," Public Information Officer Reese Harper said in a news release.
The murder happened Friday at the Rouses in the 700 block of Baronne Street.
"According to investigators, Eighth District officers responded to a call of a shooting, and upon their arrival, officers located the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. Emergency Medical Technicians arrived on scene and pronounced the victim dead."
They believe the man was an innocent bystander, not the intended target.
"Throughout the course of the investigation, Homicide detectives positively identified the pictured individuals as the persons responsible for the Homicide."
