New Orleans Police Department are investigating the apparent shooting death of an adult male.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
The offense occurred in the 5900 block of North Johnson Street.
At approximately 3:10 P.M., an adult male that was shot multiple times was driven to the hospital by private conveyance and was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
Currently, investigators are in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) involved in this incident, as well as a motive.
