New Orleans firefighters battled a two-alarm blaze in the Bywater neighborhood Tuesday morning.
According to the NOFD, fire crews responded to a call of a two-story home on fire with possibly people trapped inside.
This happened about 9:37 a.m. in the 700 block of Mazant Street. When firefighters arrived, they searched the home and found the house was clear and the residents were not inside at the time of the fire.
The NOFD says it took sixteen fire units with 37 firefighters to get the fire under control. No one was injured in the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
