Now that the FDA has authorized the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11, NOLA Public Schools announces it will host monthly vaccination events for eligible kids.
Starting this Saturday, Nov. 13 at 10 am, the District will host its first vaccination event for NOLA-PS families and students.

Future events are planned for every Saturday in November and during Thanksgiving Week.
“Medical experts say getting children ages 5 years and older vaccinated can help protect them from serious short- and long-term complications, and it can protect families and communities, including friends and family who are not eligible for the shot or those who are vulnerable to the virus,” said NOLA-PS Superintendent Dr. Henderson Lewis, Jr. “All reasons why we want to provide easy access to the vaccine for our students and their families through our NOLA-PS Vaccination Events. We urge everyone to get vaccinated.”
Below is a list of this month’s NOLA-PS Vaccination Events. The available vaccines will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis, and families are encouraged to register via the registration links on our website: nolapublicschools.com/vaccinations
