With no commercial power from Entergy available in much of the New Orleans area, essential retailers like grocery stores are working on contingency plans to reopen.
Rouses Supermarkets announced on their Facebook that they have managed to open some stores in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
Robert's Fresh Market has also managed to get a few locations open, with limited hours.
Winn Dixie reports a handful of locations open on the North Shore, with most stores south of the lake and in the River Parishes closed. Use this link to check for information on stores in your area.
