New Orleans First City Court has postponed all eviction hearings through the end of next week. It comes after fire damaged the Orleans Civil District Court building on Loyola Ave. Sunday.
First City Court had announced plans to hold hearings at New Orleans Lakefront Airport, but court officials now say that will not happen.
All other alternate arrangements made as a result of the closure of the courthouse will remain the same.
