Cooler temperatures are on the way, as a cold front will push through the region this evening.
Will those fall conditions be here to stay?
"Unfortunately, probably not as long as we'd like them to."
National Weather Service meteorologist Hannah Lisney says this is just another false fall, with the cooler conditions sticking around for only two to three days.
"When you wake up tomorrow morning, it'll be in the 50s," Lisney said. "By Tuesday, a lot of the area starts to get back into the low 80s."
Will we get another cool blast anytime soon? Lisney says: don't hold your breath.
"It might be a minute, unfortunately," Lisney said. "Through the rest of our forecast through next Friday, there isn't another front."
According to Lisney, the cool front does bring a enhanced risk of wildfires because there is no rain associated with it.
"We actually do have a little bit of a fire weather risk tomorrow," Lisney said. "We'll be upgrading the fire weather watch to a red flag warning either today or tonight."
