A man suffered an injury Sunday after telling another man he didn't have any cigarettes.
"The suspect approached the victim asking for a cigarette, The victim advised he didn't have one," according to an initial New Orleans Police report. "The suspect then began to throw several knives at the victim."
It happened just before 2:00pm in the 3300 block of Garden Oaks Drive in Algiers.
"The victim sustained a laceration to the left forearm."
The report shows that the suspect was later apprehended in the area.
