The New Orleans Police Department announced officers have arrested the man accused of killing his one-year-old son’s grandfather then fleeing with his own child.
Edmond Ramee Sr. is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the homicide of a 60-year-old New Orleans Man. Police say it happened shortly before 3:30 P.M., in the 7700 block of Henley Street.
According to investigators, officers responded to a call of an Aggravated Battery by Shooting, when they arrived, the officers found the victim shot inside of the residence. Emergency Medical Technicians were on to the scene and pronounced the man dead.
Throughout the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Edmond Ramee Sr.
was responsible for the murder and left with the residence with his child, Edmond Ramee Jr.
Monday night, Edmond Ramee Sr. turned himself in to the NOPD and brought the child back safely.
