An innocent bystander is in the hospital after New Orleans police say he was shot while caught in the crossfire of two gunmen.
That shooting happened around 6 p.m. Friday on Tullis Drive at the Woodland Highway in Algiers.
According to the NOPD's major offense log, the victim was driving through the intersection while the shootout between the suspects was ongoing. The victim was struck by a single bullet. An EMS crew took that victim to a hospital. His condition was not disclosed.
Police say they have not yet identified the two suspects.
