New Orleans police are investigating a gruesome discovery a hunter made in the woods of New Orleans East.
According to the NOPD's major offense log, that hunter made that discovery around 9:30 a.m. Monday. Police say the hunter found a burned body in a wooded area near the eastern terminus of Michoud Boulevard. Police have not released any other details about the case.
