
New Orleans Police say they have identified a suspect in the shooting death of a Cox Communications worker Monday afternoon in New Orleans East.
Detectives say 28-year-old Jalil Williams is wanted for second degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Adam Brown.
Police say Williams fatally shot Brown during a robbery attempt in the 8000 block of Dwyer Road on Monday. Shortly before 12:30 that afternoon, first responders found Brown lying on the road next to his work truck, suffering from gunshot wounds. He died a short time later at the hospital.
