The NOPD is investigating an officer-involved shooting in New Orleans East.
The Times-Picayune | New Orleans Advocate reports an officer shot a man in his leg after a confrontation. The paper reports that sources say the officer shot the suspect in the leg.
It happened around 10 a.m. in the 4300 block of Werner Driver, near Chef Menteur Highway.
The suspect is reportedly in good condition at a local hospital. There's no word yet from authorities on what led to the confrontation.
