Two teens accused of shooting an killing another teenager in New Orleans East on New Year’s Day are now in custody and facing second-degree murder charges.
According to a New Orleans Police Department spokesperson, officers arrested Caine Moore, 18, and a 15-year-old boy in connection with the death of Kayron Hall. Because of his age, police did not provide the name of the 15-year-old suspect.
The shooting happened on the night of January 1 on the North I-10 Service Road near Crowder Boulevard. Officers found Moore, 19, suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS crews took Moore to a hospital, where he later died.
