New Orleans Police say two armed robbers held up a St. Charles Avenue business Monday night.
"Two unknown black males... entered location, produced handgun and demanded money," according to an initial police report.
The initial victim complied, but workers at the business in the 2100 block of St. Charles weren't giving up that easy.
"Other employees intervened, fight ensued, and suspect's gun discharged. No injuries reported. Suspects fled."
It happened around 11:30pm.
Cops did not identify the business. That block includes Igor's Bar and Grill, Pho Kang restaurant and Brothers Food Mart.
