New Orleans police are are investigating two separate shootings, one of which left a man dead.
The homicide happened around 8:35 p.m. Wednesday on the edge of St. Roch at the corner of North Prieur and Franklin Avenue. Police say the victim died at the scene.
The second shooting happened around 3:45 a.m. Thursday in Central City on Washington Avenue at Clara Street. Police say someone drove the victim, identified only as a man, to an area hospital for treatment.
Police have not released any details about possible suspects.
