A Folsom woman is dead after a van crashed into her SUV on a St. Tammany Parish highway.
It happened around 6:25 p.m. Monday on LA 25 near Sweet Olive Lane between Covington and Folsom.
According to state troopers, the van crossed the center line of LA 25 and struck Rachel Bitter's van on the front left side. Bitter, 39, later died at a hospital. The van's driver suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
