A teenager from another state is suspected of a pair of bomb threats that forced the relocation of a polling location in Kenner, according to a report from NOLA.com.
Election officials had to relocate voting from Kenner Discovery Charter School.
Jefferson Parish Clerk of Court John Gegenheimer tells WWL that the bomb scare is the same as one made against Kenner Discovery last week. According to Gegenheimer, that threat was made by someone in Michigan demanding bitcoin.
Authorities say the threat had nothing to do with today's elections. Police have a warrant for the teen's arrest.
