For the next several weeks we have parades in Southeast Louisiana celebrating St. Patrick and St. Joseph, along with Irish and Italian roots in the region.
It kicks off this Sunday with the Gretna Italian - Irish Parade and the Olde Towne Merchants Association St. Patrick’s Parade in Slidell.
Next weekend the Irish Channel St. Patrick's Parade rolls in Uptown New Orleans on Saturday, March 14th.
On the 15th, it's the St. Patrick Day Parade on Metairie Road
On St. Patrick's Day, March 17th... We have the Downtown Irish Club Parade
The following weekend features the Irish-Italian Parade in Metairie on March 22nd.
March 28th features the Italian-American St. Joseph’s Parade in the French Quarter.
In St. Bernard Parish they celebrated with the Irish Italian Islenos Community Parade on April 11th.
