The Pelicans season starts tonight at the Smoothie King Center.
"We're excited to be back," said Mel Barry, Senior Director of Brand Marketing with the Pelican.
Barry says fans attending tonight's game can join them for a happy hour in the Smoothie King Center's Jameson Sports Bar.
"We'll have some live entertainment. We'll have a DJ spinning some tunes," said Barry. "We'll also have Jameson and Smoothie King handing out samples while supplies last, and we'll have a photo booth station as well so people can get their game day photos before they hit their seats."
The game versus the Chicago Bulls tips off at 7 p.m., then it won't be until after Halloween that the Pels are home again, as they take off on a four-game road trip.
The birds will return to their roost to host the Indiana Pacers on November 1.
