A Lafourche Parish man is facing an attempted murder charge after deputies say he shot at another man during an argument last weekend.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon on Morristown Road in Raceland.
According to Sheriff Craig Webre, Amos Washington armed himself during the fight and fired two shots at the other man. Washington missed, and the victim ran into his home.
Washington, 41, was later arrested on attempted second-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm charges. He remains in jail on $300,000 bond.
