A strong storm system swept through the New Orleans metro area at about midnight on Thursday and it put on an impressive lightning show in the night sky.
This is video captured by Second Harvest’s Jay Vise of the lightning as it danced across the midnight back sky.
The storm system knocked power out to thousands of Entergy customers in St. Charles and parts of Jefferson Parish including the parts of Metairie. You can click here to see the latest update on power outages.
