Former St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Jack Strain's four life sentences have been upheld by a state court of appeal. Strain was convicted in 2021 on four counts of aggravated rape, two counts of aggravated incest, and one count of sexual battery.
Strain is serving those sentences without possibility of parole.
St. Tammany/Washington Parish District Attorney Warren Montgomery says Strain made ten arguments in his appeal and all ten were rejected.
