For at least the second time this year, gunfire has forced officials to call off a Louisiana high school football game.
The latest incident happened Friday night in Thibodaux during the game between Thibodaux and Hahnville. Authorities say the game was called after gunshots were heard near the football stadium.
According to a Facebook post by the St. Charles Parish School Board, all students involved in the game are safe. Hahnville’s students board their buses after the game was called and are on their way back home.

Police said there was an unrelated medical incident at the game involving a student-athlete, but the sheriff's office did not report any gunshot victims.
The case remains under investigation.
Five weeks ago, a teen was killed and an adult spectator was injured in a shooting at the Port Allen/Brusly game. A suspect in that case has since been arrested.
