Skeletal remains, stuffed inside a duffel bag, were found in a sewer in the St. Roch neighborhood, according to New Orleans police.
NOPD says the discovery was made shortly after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
It was near the intersection of Annette and Benefit streets, just off the N. Broad on-ramp to I-610.
Police are investigating it as an unclassified death.
