The rains came and went and Jazz Fest endures.
Today is no different as thousands of fans in search of music, food, and good times will once again pour into the Fair Grounds for just that—entertainment on a grand scale.
Now just in case a spare shower breaks out, remember: You can have a handheld umbrella, but nothing bigger. Those big golf course umbrellas, or sports umbrellas are no go.
"Beach or pole-style umbrellas (over 63”)" and do not allow "Personal tents, shade canopies or other shelters/shacks, sport-brellas, etc."

Hey! Don’t forget all the new food options for this year’s Jazz Fest! Throw the diet aside and great new stuff like jerk chicken sausage, shrimp and grits, grilled shrimp, and barbecued oysters new to the offerings.
Leave the cash at home, you don’t need it! Jazz Fest is cashless this year. Now there may be longer lines and increased wait times for food at booths, but at least you won’t lose your cash on the walk home, or back to your hotel room!
