A shooting at a Louisiana high school football game has left a teenage dead and an adult in the hospital.

That shooting happened Friday night at Port Allen High School during that school's game against cross-parish rival Brusly. Witnesses said the shooting happened at halftime near the stadium's concession stand.

"I witnessed the devastation and traumatic moment as so many others," Lacy wrote. "The aftermath of this tragedy will take a lot of healing. As a parish we must stand together and support one another during these difficult times especially our children."

According to Lacy, a 15-year-old died in that shooting. Published reports say a 28-year-old man was taken to the hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds.

The second half of the game was canceled.

Port Allen police have not said if anyone has been arrested or if any suspects have been identified.
