The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has live music venues shut down and hurting for business.
One famous local music venue is getting creative during the pandemic by streaming live music for free.

Uptown music vendor, Tipitina’s announced their “Save Tip’s” streaming event.
According to Tipitina’s website, “The multi-artist live music celebration will be free to access and take place on Saturday, November 14th at 9PM EST / 8PM CST / 6PM PST and will feature the most beloved current and legendary performers from New Orleans and beyond that have felt the magic of Tip’s.”
The live stream will feature performances by Trombone Shorty, Widespread Panic, Big Freedia, Kermit Ruffins, The Soul Rebels, Dinosaur Jr., Fats Domino, Willie Nelson, Gregg Allman and more.
Save Tip’s will stream on tipitinas.com on Saturday, November 14 at 8:00 p.m. local Central time.
