The man New Orleans police arrested for an alleged stabbing in Treme gave police a bizarre explanation involving “devil markings."
As the Times-Picayune | New Orleans Advocate reports, police detained 37-year-old William Reese about four blocks from the scene where witnesses told police he cut a man in the neck.
The newspaper reports that during police questioning, Reese explained he believed he was in a game where he needed to “hurt someone” or he will “get hurt.”
Police arrested and booked Reese with one count of second-degree murder.
