Authorities in Alabama arrested two suspects in the break-in and fire at Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser's Plaquemines Parish house.
WWL-TV's Paul Murphy reports cops picked them up in Tuscaloosa.
The break-in happened last week. Nungesser says the burglars stole some sports memorabilia, political memorabilia, and liquor. They also placed objects on a lit stove and started a fire.
Nungesser and his wife have been living in Covington while the mansion on Hwy. 23 upriver from West Pointe a la Hache is for sale.
