New Orleans Police say two victims were carjacked at gunpoint Wednesday.
A woman was held up just after 8:00am.
"Unknown black male armed with gun approached victim and demanded she exit her vehicle and leave her purse," an initial police report detailed. "Victim complied. Suspect fled in victim’s 2011 black Jeep Liberty."
That happened in the 3800 block of Louisiana Ave Pkwy. in Broadmoor.
The victim is a 51-year-old woman.
Just before 3:30pm in the French Quarter a man was carjacked.
The 37-year-old victim was at the corner of Iberville Street and Decatur Street.
"Suspect approached victim at intersection, produced handgun and took victim’s vehicle. Suspect fled in victim’s silver Chrysler 300."
