An early morning shooting outside a bar near Kentwood landed two men in the hospital. Now, Tangipahoa Parish sheriff’s deputies are searching for clues.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. at an establishment on U.S. 51 near LA 1054, a few miles north of Kentwood and about a mile south of the Mississippi State Line.
According to a Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, deputies found one of the victims in a car. Deputies learned about the second victim after getting a call from another location about a wounded man. Neither man’s injuries are considered to be non-life-threatening.
