Somewhere in the melee between the wind down of the Super Bowl and the ramp up of Carnival is Valentine's day!
You may have forgotten but here's a friendly reminder so you stay on your significant other's good side.
But, now that it's this late in the game, can you still make it a special night for that special someone?
Phil Degruy, member of Louisiana Restaurant Association, says there are still options available just remain open minded.
"If you are willing to dine later, you will find options and maybe even a more intimate setting."
Degruy says you can end up with less patrons later at night setting a nice scene for you and your honey.
Another thing he says to consider is changing where you dine. Knowing that most of the top restaurants will be flocked to, make it special by going to your favorite taqueria or lounge that offers food and live music.
"I'd go get some tacos, a good drink, and live music."
So now that you know where to eat, quickly get the drug store before they run out of cards and candy!
