Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joe Lopinto says his deputies are searching for who may be responsible for fatally shooting a woman in Harvey.
“At about 8:45 pm, deputies were dispatched to a report of an unresponsive female inside a residence on Ravenna St. They located the female, who was pronounced dead on the scene. The victim was suffering from at least one gunshot wound,” says a JPSO report.
There is no suspect or motive information available at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
