New Orleans Police are investigating two overnight murders.
The first was just before 11:00pm in Broadmoor.
"Officers responded to an aggravated battery by shooting and found a female victim on the front porch of the residence, suffering from gunshot wounds," according to an initial police report. "The victim was pronounced by New Orleans EMS."
Cops say they caught the shooter.
It happened in the 3900 block of General Taylor Street.
About three hours later, police say a woman killed a man in Gentilly Woods.
"Officers responded to reports of a person shot at the location. The officers discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound on the scene and was later pronounced deceased by New Orleans EMS. The suspect was arrested on scene."
The initial police report says the victim is a male, while the suspect is a female.
Cops got the call at 2:00am to the 4300 block of Louisa Drive.
