You've heard of Christmas in July. Now, meet Thanksgiving in October thanks to Amazon's earliest-ever Black Friday deals.
With temperatures still hovering near 80 in the coldest parts of the country and turkey and stuffing nowhere in sight, the retail behemoth offered a shocking bonanza of deals to jumpstart the holiday shopping season ... well before Halloween.
The online retail giant announced Monday that holiday savings are already available at the specially curated section of the site at Amazon.com/epicdeals. You can also ask your smart speaker, “Alexa, what are my deals?”
What will you find there? Amazon said to expect “deep discounts” across all categories, including fashion, home, beauty, toys, electronics and its own devices. New deals will be added daily.
On select days throughout October and November, Amazon said brands such as Apple, KitchenAid, Hasbro, Sony, Bose and Shark will “offer limited-time offers with deeper deals on their selection of most-loved products to give Amazon customers even more ways to save.”
Today's deals included Beats headphones at $169, 50% discounts on Urban Decay and IT cosmetics, AirPods for $109, a Fire TV Stick for $25.99, an Echo Dot for $24.99, Fire HD Dot tablet for $59.99, plus pages and pages of more sales. You can even get 60 five-layer face masks for $19.99 and one of the popular new furry and cuddly dog beds for $19.99.
Amazon also unveiled its Holiday Toy List and a new Holiday Prep Shop with holiday decor, seasonal treats and more.
