Tech billionaire and X owner Elon Musk recently took to his social media platform to demand that Disney chief executive Bob Iger be fired after the company pulled advertisements from his website.

“He should be fired immediately,” Musk said in a post on X. “Walt Disney is turning in his grave over what Bob has done to his company.”

Iger, like other company executives in recent weeks, decided to stop advertising on X after Musk agreed with an anti-semitic post.

Soon after Musk said that a post that said “Jewish communities (sic) have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them” was “actual truth,” Disney, Apple, and other large companies pulled their ads from the site.

Musk has since apologized, saying that in retrospect he “should not have replied” to the post.

However, sudden interest in Iger is a bit out of left field after Musk seemingly told the media executive off at the DealBook conference last month.

“If somebody is going to try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money, go f*** yourself. Go f*** yourself. Is that clear? I hope it is,” Musk said to a stunned crowd and interviewer. “Hey Bob, if you’re in the audience.”

Iger, who was at the conference, spoke about Musk, saying that he had “a lot of respect for Elon and what he has accomplished” but that his company couldn’t continue to advertise on his platform.

Still, on Thursday, Musk sent several other tweets directed toward Iger and Disney.

Quoting a report from CNBC that discusses a recent lawsuit in Mexico that alleges children are exposed to sexual content on Facebook and Instagram, Musk asked why companies were continuing to advertise on the platforms.

“Yeah, why do their Chief Marketing Officers endorse child trafficking!?” Musk posted. “Let’s ask them.”

In other posts directed towards Iger, Musk said that he “thinks it’s cool to advertise next to child exploitation material. Real stand-up guy.”

Disney has not commented on the remarks from Musk at this moment.
