NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The four men accused of selling beloved actor and Flatbush native Michael K. Williams the fentanyl-laced heroin that caused his overdose pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to narcotics conspiracy charges in Manhattan Federal Court.

Williams, who played Omar Little in HBO's 'The Wire,' overdosed in September at his Williamsburg apartment at age 54.
Federal prosecutors claim Irving Cartagena, Hector Robles, Luis Cruz and Carlos Macci continued to sell the fentanyl-laced heroin that killed Williams despite being aware of his death.
Prosecutors claim they have footage of Cartagena handing Williams the dose that killed him.
The suspects each face a maximum sentence of life in prison if they are found guilty and will remain in jail until their trial on June 10.
Williams was open about his struggles with drug abuse. In an interview on the Tamron Hall show just seven months before his death, he spoke about going to therapy in order to address some of those problems and how his drug use had affected his life.
