Vice President Mike Pence has finally addressed the elephant -- errr, fly -- in the room.

During an interview with Fox News' Dana Perino, Pence said he had no clue that the insect was nesting on his head for more than two minutes during last week's vice presidential debate in Salt Lake City.

Pence said that his kids, who attended the debate, told him about the unwanted visitor.

"They're the ones that told me. I didn’t know he was there," Pence said, laughing.

He added, "They all told me, 'Dad, you did okay,' but they did tell me about the fly. It was a good laugh for all of us."

Joe Biden's campaign also got a good laugh from it as well: It started selling blue fly swatters for $10 with "Truth Over Flies" stamped on them, along with the Biden/Harris campaign logo.
