The current controversy sparked by FOX News host Tucker Carlson showing newly-released surveillance video showing relative calm at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 comes at a bad time, as FOX News is being sued for lying on the air about Dominion Voting Systems.
This meeting of issues at this time could be the tipping point of reassessing what America demands and what we tolerate from the news media. Carlson is attempting to change the narrative that we know is true - and at the exact same time, we learn about Carlson's off-air admission that he was disgusted with Trump's lies and “hates him passionately” - but knowingly boosted his false claims about 2020 on the air, for a long time, for the sole purpose of feeding the audience the information he thought they wanted.
Actual truth is under attack.
