Some of the questions I get from listeners blow my mind! But I really shouldn’t be surprised. Perhaps I need to work on being more understanding of those who appear to be truly challenged when it comes to a basic understanding of politics and current issues.
Shortly after I commented on the show about how concerned I am that the current administration is looking for ways to throw people in jail without a trial and even without charges being filed, a caller - Charles - called into the show to criticize me for the comment and asked, “Well, what about the J6 people who were thrown in jail?”
I don’t know why I was so surprised by the question because I’ve been in the business a long time and I’ve heard some really dumb questions. I think what bothered me most about this caller was the idea that he didn’t understand how ridiculous the question was and how obvious the answer was. And this guy was actually calling to bash me because he thought I was being a hypocrite. It’s disturbing that so many Americans are misinformed and will believe whatever bullsh** rhetoric they are told. And these people spread the bullsh** to others, who then spread it further. These are the people who are voting in our elections. It’s really scary that so many Americans are so biased that they only judge things through their biased prism and allow their bias to blind them to simple reality.
