Tropical Storms Peter and Rose are swirling in the Atlantic.
The National Hurricane Center, however, says neither is a threat to the United States.
Peter could cause some flooding in the islands.
"Rainfall around the southern periphery of Tropical Storm Peter could produce rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches, with locally higher amounts possible, across portions of the Northern Leeward Islands, including the Virgin Islands, as well as Puerto Rico through Tuesday."
Beyond that it is forecast to stay out over water.
Rose is not near any land and is not forecast to impact any.
"By Tuesday... upper-level winds are expected to become less conducive, and Rose is forecast to begin a slow weakening trend."
There is a tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic several hundred miles south-southeast of the Cabo Verde Islands.
"A tropical depression is likely to form by Friday while the system moves westward."
That is pretty far south in the Atlantic and bears watching over the next week.
In the northern Atlantic the remnants of Odette could reform.
