Saturday afternoon saw the sun come out after a morning that began with sever storms.
"A cool front arrives later today and that means we dry out Sunday," said WWL-TV meteorologist Payton Malone. "It will be nice with sunshine and lower humidity. Highs will still be warm near 80 degrees."
Monday will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain.
The next major rain chance isn't until Tuesday.
